OUR WORK - WHAT WE DO
Run N Go Bags
Meeting the need of 'self-care'. Our organization transforms new and gently used handbags in to 'Run N Go' bags that are filled with personal hygiene and beauty items. The handbags and the items that we fill the handbags with are donated items we receive from various individuals, organizations, and companies. Our 'Run N Go' bags are just one aspect of our mission.
Support Groups and Workshops
Am I My Sister's Keeper... For I Am My Sister is our support group forum where the women who have been abused are able to come together and support each other in group sessions and group workshops.
Relocation Assistance
We are dedicated to supporting victims and survivors of domestic violence and their housing needs. Through a partnership with another local nonprofit, I’m Bruised But Not Broken, Inc., provides housing relocation assistance by locating available housing that is within the income, credit, employment requirements of the owner and desired monthly rental amount and amenities of the applicant.

THE TEAM

ALICIA STUKES
CEO and Founder
Ms. Stukes is the CEO/Founder and visionary who birthed I’m Bruised But Not Broken, Inc., aka IBBNB as a result of being a victim of domestic violence. Because of the lack of resources and direct services available for victims of domestic violence, Ms. Stukes envisioned IBBNB as being a conduit between the victim and other community resources such as law enforcement, legislators, counselors, advocates, etc. It is because of Ms. Stukes passion and commitment to the advocacy of domestic violence that IBBNB has been able to partner with such organizations such as Community Advocates for Family and Youth, City of Bowie Community Committee, Walmart, The Washington Redskins (now the Washington Football Team), Creme of Nature, Safeway, Giant and a host of other organizations. Ms. Stukes is the mother of three adult children Patrick, Brian, and Kayla. She is also a local small business owner, an alum of the University of Maryland Global Campus and a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
